About me

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Mid Essex Hospitals. I have different roles in the Department and I am also involved in the day to day running of the Eye Unit in Mid Essex in the form of Clinical Leader of the Eye Department. I divide my clinical work between adult and paediatric ophthalmology and have a well-established practice of each type covering various kinds of eye conditions. I do not pretend to be expert in all aspects of ophthalmology and where I am not capable of delivering a particular service, I am very happy to guide my patients to services that provide them with the best possible treatment. Having said that, as a Registrar, I have worked in every sub-speciality in Oxford rotation and have gained my certificate of completion of training from the General Medical Council of the UK in 2010. I had further complementary fellowship training at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in paediatric ophthalmology.
